FotoMagico 5

Getting PlayerMaker

FotoMagico PlayerMaker is a helper application required by the App Store version of FotoMagico to create standalone slide show players. Once you have downloaded and installed this helper application in your Applications folder, FotoMagico will use it whenever you try to create a standalone player.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Please open the “Security & Privacy” section of System Preferences, and set “Allow apps downloaded from” to “Mac App Store and identified developers. You only need to do this once.
  • If FotoMagico PlayerMaker fails to launch, please select it in the Finder, right-click it, and select “Open” from the context menu. After confirming the security dialog, and launching the helper app manually, FotoMagico should also be able to launch it from now on.
  • If FotoMagico PlayerMaker still fails to be launched by FotoMagico, you may also create a standalone player by dragging a FotoMagico slideshow file (.fms) onto FotoMagico PlayerMaker.
  • When you update FotoMagico to a new version, you will be prompted to download a new version of “FotoMagico Player Maker” to match your version of FotoMagico.
