PRESS RELEASE (FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE)

Recording of iPhoneDevCamp live stream now available

Munich, Germany—August 5th, 2009. Boinx Software today publishes the recording of the first German iPhoneDevCamp, hosted by App Records and Boinx Software in Puchheim, near Munich. The iPhoneDevCamp Munich was a satellite event of the iPhoneDevCamp 3 at Yahoo! in Sunnyvale, CA on August 1st. The presentations (in German language) by leading iPhone developers about new market opportunities and ways to improve development efficiency were recorded and streamed live with BoinxTV.

"The iPhoneDevCamp has clearly shown that developers appreciate the possibilities the iPhone brings to them and their customers. Especially it has helped to understand how important target-oriented marketing is, to stand out of the crowd of 65.000+ available applications", says Stefan Niederreiter, co-founder of App Records and host of the first iPhoneDevCamp in Germany.

"These are exciting times for a software company with the emergence of a truly innovative new platform", says Oliver Breidenbach, CEO of Boinx Software. "Developers needed a forum for exchanging views, hopes and experiences both relating to the business and engineering side to get a feeling for the eco-system of the iPhone. Thanks to BoinxTV, a lot more people than we could fit into the room where able to benefit from the great talks by successful iPhone developers such as Cultured Code of ‘Things’-fame both by watching the live stream and the now-published high-quality recordings. The iPhoneDevCamp Munich was a two-fold success for us both as a community event and a use case for BoinxTV."

More than 40 iPhone developers participated at the first iPhoneDevCamp Munich at Boinx Software. BoinxTV was used to capture various video sources and to mix a live video signal streamed out using uStream. About 250 people watched the live stream with four hours of presentations and animated discussions of Robert Klein and Stefan Niederreiter (App Records), Tobias Stöger (stoeger it GmbH), Holger Frank (Mobile Butler), Andreas Linde and Werner Jainek (Cultured Code), Johannes Lechner (Fudgy Software) and Leon von Tippelskirch (Harlekins).
