| Q | Will it run on an Intel based Mac? |
| A | No. Intel based Macs require that Screensavers are compiled for the Intel platform. We have not yet had time to make the changes required so that it compiles. We will do it as soon as we have some spare time on our hands. |
| Q | I get a message "Error during initialization" |
| A | Unfortunately MiracleSight 1.0 no longer works on Mac OS X v10.3.5. Apple has confirmed that this is a bug introduced with the 10.3.5 update. As of now there is no fix available. We will keep you informed. It should however work fine on Panther up to v10.3.4. |
| Q | Boinx MiracleSight stops after a while |
| A | This is a known problem with FireWire Cams. Its based on a known problem in QuickTime that stops the video feed after a random amount of time. As a result you will no longer get screen updates after some time. This can be after a few seconds or just after an hour. There is currently no way to omit this. We are working with Apple on a solution. |
| Q | The Screen is black except the note "No Video Source found" |
| A | Please ensure that you have connected a Quick Time compatible camera like the Apple iSight. Your camera may be in use by another application (like iChat AV), disable the camera in all other applications, close the Screensaver Window and try it again. |
| Q | What are the System Requirements? |
| A |
MiracleSight requires Mac OS X v10.3 "Panther" (10.3 or newer) and QuickTime 6.4 or newer. It is highly recommended that you update to the latest versions of all system software. Boinx MiracleSight works with most FireWire DV Cams, Firewire Webcams (like Apple iSight) and some USB cams (special drivers needed). Because we rely entirely on QuickTime for image capture, it should work with any video source that works with QuickTime. Drop us a note if you find a setup that works or doesn't work. |
| Q | How can I change the settings/the sound? |

| Q | How do I install it? |
| A | Double-click the file "MiracleSight.saver".
System Preferences will open and ask you whether you want MiracleSight to be installed for your account only (this user) or for all users of the machine. You might just want to install it for your account. After that you should see the Screen Saver preferences with a list of available saver modules on the left. This list now contains the entry "MiracleSight". Click the entry "MiracleSight" and you are ready to go. If you think double-clicking is too easy, you can also copy "MiracleSight.saver" manually to either "~/Library/Screen Savers" or "/Library/Screen Savers". |

| A | Boinx MiracleSight is FREE of charge but if you enjoy it Boinx Software gladly accepts Donations via the Boinx Software Kagi Store. If enough people donate and send us feature requests, there might even be a next release. |
