Motion Detection
With Motion Detection, iVeZeen does all the work for you. It watches and detects motion and if the motion exceeds a limit that you have defined, it starts recording. You can also set the time that it should continue to record after the motion has stopped. Using your webcam to watch your pets this way is great fun.
AppleScript
Another way to control recording is by AppleScript. With the help of a couple of scripts and other applications, you could have your camera start recording according to events set up in iCal, or use USB devices such as the X-keys Foot Pedal or even your mobile phone with Saling Clicker to control Boinx iVeZeen.
Speech Recognition
Or use your voice to command Boinx iVeZeen. The built-in speech recognition of Mac OS X is fully supported as a means of starting and stopping recording. Very usefull if you plan to be camera man and actor at the same time!
