Robert Pritchett reviews FotoMagico for macCompanion and awards it 5 Stars: "Strengths: Does stuff better than Apple's iApps." ... "There is a good reason why Boinx picked the magician's hat as a logo for this app. It really is magic!" ... "Titling allows for more freedom of movement than in using Apple's iApps. That's right, it allows the text to move and resize."

MacZealots.com: "Mouseposé poster child for Mac shareware"

Ryan J. Bonnell reviews Boinx Mouseposé for MacZealots.com: "With all the beautiful eye candy that has become standard on Mac OS X, one piece of software that deserves just as much respect as Exposé is Mouseposé from Boinx Software. [...] Mouseposé is the poster child for Macintosh shareware. Mouseposé not only fills a niche, but it does exactly what it intends to without any unnecessary clutter. [...] We fell in love so much with Mouseposé that using a Mac without it just isn't the same."

"FotoMagico fills the gap between iPhoto, iTunes and iDVD"

German Technology News site "Industrial Technology & Witchcraft" has a nice review of FotoMagico 1.2 in german:
FotoMagico vom Münchener Entwickler Boinx spingt in die Lücke, die Apple zwischen iPhoto, iTunes und iDVD gelassen hat: es verheiratet Photos und Sound so, daß man sie über einen DVD-Player auf dem Fernseher präsentieren kann. Und das macht es geradezu Apple-like einfach und gut, weshalb es vermutlich auch im vorigen Jahr mit O'Reillys Mac OS X Innovators-Preis ausgezeichnet wurde.

Video blogging with iVeZeen
Saturday, February 19, 2005 - Permalink

Tim Verpoorten writes for Geek News Central:"Here's another buzzword which is slowly saturating itself throughout the net, it's called Vloging." [...] "I did a short review vlog of iVeZeen to show you how simple it was, even a broadcast Neanderthal like myself could do it. Grab it here and see for yourself. (This is an 8 meg download)". Vloging is also called Video Blogging and apparently, there already was a convention about it.

[...] "Mouseposé feels like a mature application at 1.1, it is so polished it shines." [...] "I give Mouseposé 9 out of 10." Well, thank you, Ken! Update: Ken's article also appeared on Blogcritics.
Digital Camera Magazine: "It's a bargain."

David MacNeill reviews iVeZeen for Digital Camera Magazine: "This is a stone-simple application to turn your iSight into a camcorder. The app is so simple to use that there is really not much I can say except that it does precisely what it promises and that it's a bargain at $15. If you'd like to have a virtual, medium-res camcorder ready to go an the click of a button, this is the ticket."

Dan Frakes reviews Mouseposé for Macworld: "Since the purpose of a presentation is to show or demonstrate something, effective visual aids are important. When you're demonstrating software—in a classroom, a training course, or, in this case, a Macworld Expo conference session—you want your audience to be able to follow exactly what you're doing." And he rates it

FotoMagico Review: "Happy Faces"
Sunday, January 09, 2005 - Permalink
John Hershey, NCMUG Board Member, reviews FotoMagico for the NCMUG news: "The planets were in the right place to bring my curiosity about the software together with the requirement for production of an overnight sensation. [...] It takes slideshows to new heights of control and production speed. It saved me countless hours and provided the tool to create a retirement-appreciation “Happy Faces” show that was extremely well received."
