The new version also features an improved timeline with thumbnail representation of the captured frames, direct drag and drop import of images from the finder and improves the import of multiple pictures from a still camera.

Only four weeks after the release of Version 1.0, Boinx FotoMagico takes top honors in the Mac OS X Innovators contest hosted by the prestigious publisher O'Reilly Media. Version 1.0.1 became available the same day, fixing important issues reported by customers and adding iDVD integration.

Munich, Germany - Sept. 27th 2004. Boinx Untitled App will be known as "Boinx FotoMagico". The winner of the naming contest, which resulted in almost a thousand suggested names, is Krishna Sadasivam of Savannah, GA, creator of the comic "The PC Weenies". His entry "fotomatico" inspired the developer of the application, Peter Baumgartner, to think up the new final name.

Munich, Germany - Sept. 24th 2004. In time for its second anniversary, iStopMotion turns 1.5 and gains the long awaited and much anticipated support for high resolution movies and digital still cameras. The new Noise Reduction feature increases the image quality when working with video sources such as the Apple iSight. Special introductory offer for iStopMotion 1.5 HR ends Oct. 30th 2004.
