"We made this for a school project last year. We bought boinx iStopmotion and used it along with our computer video camera's. The plot is simple. A man uncovers a hidden door behind a bookshelf, when he enters the door he comes out a different door in a some other part of the world. A lego castle, a toy graveyard, prehistoric times, and a foggy wasteland."

"To make the film, I painted multiple watercolors of my wife, who has always been my favorite subject. (...) Cross-dissolving through a series of nearly identical duplicated paintings makes the little differences between the paintings create motion as they slowly morph, shimmering into one another. By controlling and keeping constant the length of the dissolves, I hoped to create the feeling of breathing."
