We don't know what a "Planorbulinella sp. from the Red Sea" actually is. But it's a fascinating life form. "Timelapse (~100x real time) of foraminifer, using Nikon Diaphot inverted phase contrast microscope, Nikon D80, Ubuntu and gphoto2 on a Dell Dimension 4600, and iStopMotion on a MacBook."

From 25th to 29th October the 2nd congress of the 11th Synod of the Evangelic Church in Germany (EKD) takes place in Ulm. The biggest German Christian Election is streamed live on http://www.ekd.de/synode2009_ulm/wahlstudio.html with BoinxTV. There als was a short ZDF report about streaming the election to the internet.
