Bertie Stephens, Daniel Shirley and George Thompson are a group of students at the University of London who are currently studying film. To try and push the boundaries of their knowledge they decided to have a go at stop animation with clay. They used iStopMotion and Adobe Premiere Pro. The music used was licensed under the educational act. They write: "We really want to show it to you as we couldn't have done it without your software." A website is planned to go live tomorrow and the clip can be viewed on Google video.

macam 0.8.5
Monday, May 08, 2006 - Permalink
I just noticed that the macam project seems to have risen from the dead. If you don't know it, macam is a driver for USB based webcams so that you can use them as a QuickTime capture device with applications such as iStopMotion or iVeZeen. The latest version even is a Universal thing, meaning that you should be able to use it on Intel Macs. And they've added a number of new cameras. Cool.
