† Terry Teague 1955-2005
Monday, September 12, 2005 - Permalink
I am shocked and sad to hear that Terry Teague died this Friday in his home at the age of roughly 50. I met Terry at the very first WWDC I went to (must have been around '92) when he gave me and my brother a great tour of his workplace at Apple. Back then, security and secrecy where not as hot, so we got to see some very interesting stuff... Since then, I met him every year at WWDC and communicated every now end then by email. I will always remember him as a friendly, positive person who seemed to be happy with what he did.

Cast Easy - Podcast Publishing Reborn

A cool piece of software from the "I wish I had time to do it" department: Cast Easy from Oasis Media Group. An elegant application that makes publishing podcasts really easy. Makes my article on Podcast publishing sort of obsolete. It supports FTP server, .Mac and creating a local RSS file.

Wednesday, September 07, 2005 - Permalink
Tian from iPod scrubs sends us word of the Flip Animation Festival in Wolverhampton, Thurs 27 - Sat 29 Oct 2005. It sounds like a lot of fun for people who are into animation. Tian will bring Achim's "Pit Stop" animation and you might want to ask him about his opinion on iStopMotion. A seminar for teachers on stop motion animation is also offered, although we do not know if they use iStopMotion.
