It Takes Them All
BoinxTV can use various inputs, like video cameras, microphones and audio mixers, as well as pre-recorded material, like movies, and sound clips. BoinxTV is designed to fit into your existing workflow.
For BoinxTV, every input is a source. You can use inputs in any number of layers that can be placed on top of each other, toggled on and off, and interactively controlled. A fullscreen display of a video camera can be set as a simple layer, while other layers, like a ticker tape, a station logo, lower thirds, and many others, can be placed on top of the fullscreen layer.
The possibilities are endless as the different sources/inputs can be combined, and mixed together to create a 'TV style' station design or an interview situation via iChat or Skype. The screen grabber source can capture any region on the screen—for example, a PowerPoint presentation—and integrate it into a picture-in-picture layout.
BoinxTV can mix not only video and still images but also audio sources. You can use your sound files from iLIfe, GarageBand or any other sound file on your hard disk. And, of course, BoinxTV works with sound input from other apps, and external audio mixers, as well.
