"Boinx Software, makers of Boinx TV, a Mac-based TV studio software solution for creating Live to Disk, Live to Internet and Live to Stage video, offered their services to broadcast the first live video stream of a SuperMeet to the public. The SuperMeet organizers were at first unsure if live streaming the SuperMeet was even a workable idea. "The team from Boinx Software had just flown in from Germany to offer us their expertise and within hours the Boinx crew had the live feed up and running," stated Berube. "Without any advanced public notice of the live video stream until about 2 hours before the SuperMeet, by the second half of the show, we had over 1,500 unique viewers, which really surprised us. In effect, streaming the San Francisco SuperMeet was but a dry run for us as we will most certainly offer a live Boinx TV video stream at our next SuperMeet."
